DSM’s Disaster Recovery facility is power protected by twin, fully automated start/stop/failover, Generators and triple parallel UPS systems to tier level 3/4 thus allowing continued, uninterrupted operation in any mains failure or service situation. On-Site fuel supplies ensure that power will continue to be delivered for a number of weeks of any continued power outage.

The facility also has its own LPG gas supply, dual water supplies, on-site sewerage handling and a communication structure comprising of triple, separately routed high bandwidth fibres with automatic failover, along with Microwave (should underground cables become disturbed) and Copper.
